From May 21 to 23 next, will be held in Spain and more specifically Lleida (Catalonia) Day ... the snail or Aplec del Caracol !
In program festivities : Contest aioli, concerts, demonstration sports Basque sardanes, and of course tasting snails of various origins, at prices very affordable! smaller will also take part in the celebration: their many activities are proposed.
If you live south of France, the feast of Lleida Snail may be worth the trip! And for those living a little further, there are cheap Barcelona (which is the nearest airport). If you do not necessarily snails (like me) you can still enjoy the great atmosphere and many activities.
