Recipe: Chocolate Madeleines


few days ago, I made madeleines. An easy recipe and it was really good for dessert or to breakfast!

I found the recipe on Marmiton (my Bible when I 'm looking for inspiration!):

Ingredients for 32 muffins:

3 eggs - 150 g flour
- 2 cu. S. orange blossom
- 8 g yeast
- 100g butter, melted
- 50 ml milk

In fact, I'm part of this recipe at the base, but I also added some chocolate chips and as I had no orange flower in hand, I put a little vanilla ...

Preparation:

In a bowl, mix eggs and sugar until the mixture whitens.
Add flour and baking powder, then melted butter and milk.
Add orange blossom / vanilla and chocolate chips.

Divide batter in small buttered molds beforehand. Caution, do not fill them completely because the madeleines will swell.

Bake at 240 º C for 5 minutes, then lower the oven to 200 º C and allow another ten minutes. Effectively monitor the cooking.
